Important Dates for 2002 Election Year

Last date to register before the primary — Monday, April 22, 2002
Last date to return absentee ballot — Friday, May 17, 2002
Primary election day — Tuesday, May 21, 2002
Last day to register before general election — Monday, October 7, 2002
Last day to return absentee ballot — Friday, November 1, 2002

General election day — Tuesday, November 5, 2002 Polls open 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

A list of polling places appears in the Lancaster Newspapers the Saturday before every election.
